(Seoul=Yonhap News) Reporter Oh Myung-eon = Actress Go Hyun-jung appeared on a talk variety show for the first time in 15 years since ‘Knee-Drop Guru’ and mentioned her children with her ex-husband, Shinsegae Group Chairman Jung Yong-jin.
On the tvN variety show ‘You Quiz on the Block’ aired on the 27th, Go Hyun-jung said, “There are many people who are curious if I see my children.”
She confessed, “Mothers should just feel comfortable, but for me, it was just wishful thinking,” adding, “I didn’t realize how sad it was that (when the kids and I) weren’t close, it was so awkward and uncomfortable not living together.”

Go Hyun-jung also reminisced about her relationships in her 20s on the show that day.
She recalled, “I unexpectedly started dating, and I didn’t know it could be so fun,” adding, “I felt like everything in the world was going my way.”
“Love came swiftly and colored my entire 20s. I realized it was deep love, and it doesn’t come often.”
A former Miss Korea in 1989, Go Hyun-jung debuted as an actress through KBS’s ‘Love Tree’ and gained immense popularity starring in ‘Eyes of Dawn’, ‘Mother’s Sea’, and ‘The Sandglass.’
Announcing marriage during the peak of her acting career and simultaneously declaring her retirement from the entertainment industry, she reflected on that time, saying, “It was a period of intense dating, so I felt that drama shootings were interfering with my relationships.”
