Actors Um Tae-goo and Kim Seol-hyun shared their thoughts on reuniting for ‘The Lighting Shop’. On the morning of the 3rd, a production presentation for the Disney+ original series ‘The Lighting Shop’ was held at the COEX Convention Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Attendees included writer Kang Full, director Kim Hee-won, actors Joo Ji-hoon, Park Bo-young, Kim Seol-hyun, Um Tae-goo, Lee Jung-eun, Kim Min-ha, Park Hyuk-kwon, Shin Eun-soo, and Kim Sun-hwa. That day, Um Tae-goo reflected on working again with Kim Seol-hyun, with whom he previously collaborated on the movie ‘The Great Battle’, saying, “It was really great.
It was so great I wished we could have worked together even longer than the 8 episodes.” In response, Kim Seol-hyun also said, “When I first met (Um Tae-goo), I was disappointed that we didn’t have many opportunities to talk,” adding, “Working with him this time, our chemistry was much better than before.”
She responded, “He was very considerate, so I had a really good feeling while filming.” ‘The Lighting Shop’ tells the story that unfolds when customers with suspicious secrets come to a place called ‘The Lighting Shop,’ the only spot that brightens the end of a dark alley.
A total of 8 episodes will be pre-released in 4 episodes on the 4th and 2 episodes will be released every week for 2 weeks. Reporter Jang Joo-yeon jang3@edaily.co.kr
