Wo Do-hwan: “Started drinking with ‘Mr. Plankton’… Think about it even before going to bed.”

Actor Woo Do-hwan revealed he learned the taste of alcohol through ‘Mr.

Plankton’.

On the morning of the 4th at Hotel Naru Seoul, in Mapo District, Seoul, a production presentation for the new Netflix original series ‘Mr.

Plankton’ was held.

Present at the event were director Hong Jong-chan, actors Woo Do-hwan, Lee Yoo-mi, Oh Jung-se, and Kim Hae-sook. Woo Do-hwan was asked if he had done anything special for the character he played, Haejo, and he answered, “No.

I didn’t even exercise this time.

In fact, it was a difficult convention for me,” he replied. He continued, “I originally don’t like alcohol.

But for this project, to relieve myself, I felt I had to give up what I used to do and do what I hadn’t done before.

So I lived as someone who liked alcohol,” he said. Woo Do-hwan also added, “At some point, I started thinking about alcohol.

I even thought about it before going to bed.

I understood why people enjoy drinking.

But that feeling disappeared right after the filming ended.

I tried to live as Haejo during that period,” he added. ‘Mr.

Plankton’ is a romantic comedy where the most unfortunate woman in the world, Jaemi (played by Lee Yoo-mi), is forced to accompany Haejo (played by Woo Do-hwan), a man who was mistakenly born, on the last journey of his life.

It will be released on the 8th. Reporter Jang Juyoun jang3@edaily.co.kr
