Actress Hwang Jung-eum wailed after hearing the innermost thoughts of her first son. Hwang Jung-eum, who divorced businessman Lee Young-don in February last year, has two sons under her care.
On the 29th, Hwang Jung-eum appeared on the SBS Plus, E-channel entertainment program ‘Solo La Se’, revealing her daily life with her first son Wang-sik and second son Kang-sik.
When a conflict over jelly arose between the brothers, Hwang Jung-eum advised Wang-sik to yield.
When Wang-sik, who had yielded jelly and toys, ran away to avoid losing ice cream, Kang-sik hit his brother. Seeing this, Hwang Jung-eum said, “Wang-sik, don’t get hit. Run away.”
Hwang Jung-eum said, “Since I don’t let him hit his brother, Wang-sik just cries when he gets hit.”
Later, Wang-sik surprised everyone by saying, “I don’t like Kang-sik. I don’t like mom.”
When Hwang Jung-eum jokingly replied, “I don’t like you either,” Wang-sik retorted, “Then why did you have me?”
Shocked, Hwang Jung-eum took Wang-sik to a child development center.
The counselor said of Wang-sik, “He compares the way mom treats him and the way she treats his brother,” adding, “He is a child who craves affection immensely.”
Hwang Jung-eum said, “I had no idea,” adding, “When Wang-sik was around 5 years old, he held onto me when I was leaving for a shoot. I think he closed his heart to me after that.”
She said, “To Wang-sik, mom is someone who ‘leaves,'” and cried.
In a subsequent interview, Hwang Jung-eum cried while saying, “The child longed for love, but I couldn’t stay with him.”
She revealed the difficulties of being a working mom, saying, “I have to work and earn money. It’s incredibly sad not being able to take care of the kids because I have to go out to earn money.”
During a drawing test with the theme of a house, Wang-sik drew a father and child and said, “A stranger’s house.”
The counselor interpreted this as “Wang-sik is thinking of a house with his father and also shows a desire to be with him.”
In response, Hwang Jung-eum asked Wang-sik, “Have you ever had a time when you couldn’t say you wanted to see dad?” When Wang-sik nodded, saying “Many times,” Hwang Jung-eum said, “Whenever you want to see dad, feel free to say so and meet him.”
