Actress Ji Ye-eun revealed behind-the-scenes stories of filming for Netflix entertainment ‘The Chaotic Expedition’.
On the 29th, a video titled ‘Actually, Ji Ye-eun doesn’t know how to swear, go with her in a car’ was uploaded on the YouTube channel ‘VIVOTV’.
In the video, Ji Ye-eun was heading to the next schedule location in a car driven by comedian Song Eun-i.
Song Eun-i asked Ji Ye-eun, “I heard you recently got a boat license to film for ‘The Chaotic Expedition’. Is it difficult to get a boat license?”
Ji Ye-eun replied, “The practical was easy, but the written test was difficult. I took the written test several times. Eventually, the exam staff recognized me and said, ‘I hope you pass’.”
Webtoon artist Kian84, BTS member Jin, and Ji Ye-eun appeared on ‘The Chaotic Expedition’, where she directly operated a boat to transport guests to a guesthouse floating near Ulleungdo.
Song Eun-i asked, “Was it fun? Didn’t you have a hard time?” and inquired about her thoughts on appearing in ‘The Chaotic Expedition’.
Ji Ye-eun replied, “After filming, I had a hangover from Ulleungdo. Honestly, I don’t like traveling. I prefer staying at home. I enjoy vicariously through watching travel YouTube channels.”
Ji Ye-eun said, “I wasn’t interested in nature, but it was so beautiful that it brought me to tears. The scenery was so beautiful when I woke up that I thought, ‘Did I live not knowing this kind of nature?’ Although nature gave me strength, living in Ulleungdo was also challenging,” expressing complex emotions.
Song Eun-i then asked, “If you receive an offer to appear in ‘The Chaotic Expedition’ Season 2, will you go again?”
Ji Ye-eun hesitated for a moment and then said, “I will. Honestly, at that time, I thought ‘I really can’t do this. I can never do it twice.’ But it was so good. It was a meaningful experience that I couldn’t have done otherwise.”
She continued, “Because of the hardships, I became close with Kian84 and Jin in a short time. Since Jin is a world star, I didn’t know how to approach him. I was worried if I would be criticized just by being with him,” and added, “But in Ulleungdo, that couldn’t be the case at all. I think we could show the harmony of the three siblings.
