Below is the full Q&A with JUNNY.
Q1. It’s been about three years since the last regular album. Please introduce your second regular album ‘null’ yourself.
A1. This regular album ‘null’ was made with the desire to honestly show not only my musical growth but also what kind of person JUNNY is.
From the excitement before love begins to the joy and conflict experienced within the flow of a relationship, the end, and the emotions after that, the album captures the most honest aspect of a person. I believe that there is nothing that reveals a person’s true nature like moments of love, and I wanted to express this journey through an album.
Q2. You’ve organically composed a total of 12 self-written songs, including the double title tracks ‘Energy’ and ‘SOUR.’ I’m curious about the concept planning and album preparation process.
A2. I initially started drawing the musical picture I wanted, and at some point, the tone and themes naturally fell into place, creating a flow. Unconsciously, my experiences were incorporated, and through organizing the story and track order, the album was completed.
Most importantly, I didn’t go through this entire process alone. It was possible because of the producers and composer friends who guided me and made my ideas a reality from the side and in front.
Q3. You continue to attempt musical experimentation with this album. Are there any view points to better enjoy ‘null’?
A3. Just as a day can feel long, I hope you listen to this album at your leisure. Just as a day is not filled with the same mood, I believe there is a track that will match any moment on this album. Therefore, if you naturally play it repeatedly, you will be able to enjoy it more deeply.

Q4. You have been receiving attention for your recent collaborations including ‘Lonely Lover’ with Pink Sweat$, ‘limbo’ with Cold, and ‘Next To Me’ with Seo Lee. How do you feel about being referred to as an ‘artist’s artist,’ and are there any artists you’d like to work with in the future?
A4. The phrase ‘artist’s artist’ feels like an excessive compliment to me. However, I want to continue working with people who can share their attitude and passion for music.
Just as everyone has different thoughts, music is also different, but the greatest joy is felt when synergy is experienced while writing songs or sessions together. I look forward to more of these moments coming in the future.
Q5. The news of being selected as a Spotify RADAR KOREA artist has also become a hot topic. What kind of global activities do you expect through this?
A5. First, being selected as a RADAR KOREA artist is truly a great honor and a dreamlike event for me. Through this opportunity, I have gained more motivation, and I plan to continue my tour earnestly with this album.
I want to start with a European tour and meet fans around the world, and more than anything, achieving my first solo concert in Korea is my goal.
Q6. You are continuing your active music activities both domestically and internationally. Could you directly introduce your future activities, including performances where you can meet new songs on stage?
A6. This activity will first start with a European tour. I will meet fans in six cities starting from the end of September, and then I want to expand my stage to a global stage. Above all, my most meaningful goal is my first solo concert in Korea, so I am continuously preparing for that stage. [Photo provided by Mobb Company]
