Actor Ryeoun revealed the process of preparing the character for ‘Weak Hero Class 2’.
On the morning of the 21st, a production presentation for the Netflix series ‘Weak Hero Class 2’ was held at the Hotel Naru Seoul in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Director Yoo Soo-min, General Planner Han Joon-hee, actors Park Ji-hoon, Ryeoun, Choi Min-young, Yoo Soo-bin, Bae Na-ra, Lee Min-jae, and Lee Jun-young attended the event. On this day, Ryeoun said, “Park Hoon overflows with a sense of justice, is extremely strong, and values friendship and loyalty, serving as the leader of Silver Janggo,” adding, “I aimed to show a bright and cheerful side at the beginning, and more profound aspects as the struggle to protect friends progressed.” Ryeoun played the role of Park Hoo-min, the leader of Silver Janggo, in the drama.
He also gained 10kg for the role and attended action school even on days off.
He added, “Each has a different style, but because it’s a ‘strong character,’ the action was performed refreshingly and vigorously,” adding, “Now I’m losing weight again.” Meanwhile, the series ‘Weak Hero Class 2’, based on a webtoon of the same name, is a school action drama portraying the fierce survival and brilliant growth story of model student Yeon Si-eun (Park Ji-hoon), who transfers to Silver Janggo with trauma from not being able to protect his friends, facing greater violence.
It will be released on the 25th. Reporter Lee Joo-in juin27@edaily.co.kr
