Singer Jay Park shared his thoughts on taking on the role of solo MC. On the 19th, at the production presentation of SBS’s global boy group audition program ‘Universe League’ held at the SBS building in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, Jay Park said, “This is not a program that bears my name.
Rather than being responsible for the entire broadcast, I am working hard to avoid causing trouble for the program,” he said about taking on the MC role. Jay Park is the messenger connecting participants and viewers and the host encompassing the program’s universe in ‘Universe League’.
Jay Park said, “The music activities and paths I have built over the 16 years are the reasons I was chosen as the MC.
I am incredibly honored,” he said. ‘Universe League’ is an audition program in a league format, competing to win the only Prism Cup, and it proceeds like an actual sports game.
Participants are divided into three teams: Rhythm, Groove, and Beat.
