(Seoul=Yonhap News) Reporter Choi Joo-sung = The seventh mini album ‘The Name Chapter: SANCTUARY’ by TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) has become a million-seller in its first week of release, Big Hit Music announced on the 11th.
According to Hanteo Chart, the album sold a total of 1,579,339 copies from the release date on the 4th until the day before, topping the weekly album chart.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER, which began gaining popularity by surpassing 1.21 million copies sold from the release day, exceeded the previous release ‘Minisode 3: TOMORROW’, which recorded first-week sales of approximately 1.546 million copies.
Additionally, starting with 2022’s ‘Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child’, this album marks the fifth consecutive first-week million-seller record.
The new release is also gaining attention in Japan, topping Japan Apple Music’s ‘Top Album’ and iTunes ‘Top Album’ charts. The title track ‘Over The Moon’ music video also reached number one on Japan YouTube’s ‘Trending Music’.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER will operate a pop-up store at The Hyundai Seoul until the 13th to commemorate the new release.
