
[ Asia Economy ] JYP Entertainment announced on the 22nd that TWICE has entered the Billboard 200, the main chart of the U.S. Billboard, for the 10th time, the first for a K-pop girl group.
According to Billboard on the 21st (local time), TWICE’s debut 10th anniversary special album ‘TEN: The Story Goes On’, released on the 10th, ranked 11th on the Billboard 200 chart dated the 25th. With this, TWICE became the first K-pop girl group to have 10 albums on this chart.
In addition, the original soundtrack (OST) of the Netflix animation ‘K-pop Demon Hunters’, ‘Takedown’, and the track from mini 14th album ‘Strategy’ both entered the Billboard main singles chart ‘Hot 100’ consecutively for 15 and 13 weeks, respectively, for the chart dated on the 25th. The 4th full album ‘THIS IS FOR’, released in July, also appeared on the ‘Billboard 200’ for 14 consecutive weeks.
TWICE’s first English single ‘The Feels’ music video surpassed 500 million views the previous day. Including ‘TT’, ‘Likey’, ‘What is Love?’, ‘FANCY’, ‘CHEER UP’, ‘I CAN’T STOP ME’, ‘Feel Special’, and ‘Like OOH-AHH’, this makes a total of 9 music videos surpassing 500 million views.
To mark their 10th anniversary, TWICE is conducting a world tour in 43 regions with 73 shows worldwide.
