TOMORROW X TOGETHER Captures the Japanese Market… Strong Performance in Album and Music Sales

Tomorrow X Together is showing strong performance in the Japanese music and album market. According to Big Hit Music on the 7th, Tomorrow X Together’s 7th mini album ‘The Name Chapter: Sanctuary’ topped the Japanese Oricon ‘Daily Album Ranking’ (dated November 4-5) for two consecutive days. This album sold a total of 277,587 copies in Japan during this period.

This surpassed the week-long sales (approximately 174,000 copies/based on Japanese Oricon) of their previous 6th mini album within just two days of release.

In terms of the same period sales (148,588 copies), it grew approximately 60% compared to their previous work.

This showcases the expanded influence of Tomorrow X Together in the Japanese music market. Tomorrow X Together holds the record for ‘the most consecutive No. 1 overseas artist albums’ on the Japanese Oricon weekly album chart.

They previously placed a total of 10 albums consecutively at the top of this chart.

Considering that this new album’s sales show the steepest growth among all albums released so far, a new record from Tomorrow X Together is expected.

The title track ‘Over the Moon’ is also experiencing a rising trend on Japanese music charts.

Just one hour after release on the 4th at 7 PM, this track entered the Line Music real-time song chart at rank 78 and climbed to number 1 by 8 PM on the 6th.

On the Japanese Spotify ‘Daily Top Song’ (dated November 5), it dramatically rose by 79 ranks compared to the previous day, landing at 74th place.

In the Japanese Apple Music ‘Top Album’ and iTunes ‘Top Album’ charts, which rank all tracks included in an album collectively, the 7th mini album ‘The Name Chapter: Sanctuary’ took first place in both charts. Tomorrow X Together is also achieving excellent results on domestic charts.

Their new album topped the Hanteo Chart daily album chart on its release day and achieved ‘initial million-seller’ status for five consecutive albums.

They momentarily took a break but reclaimed the top position on the 3rd day of release on the latest chart (dated November 6).

The title track ‘Over the Moon’ entered the ‘Top 3’ on Bugs real-time chart. Meanwhile, Tomorrow X Together is operating a pop-up store at The Hyundai Seoul Basement 2 Iconic Square in celebration of their new album release.

This pop-up running until the 13th is based on the ‘ANGEL’ concept which depicts a home date, one of the four visuals of the new album, and is filled with various attractions such as photo zones, photo booths, a message zone, official merchandise related to the new album, and more.
