[Seoul=RNX News] Reporter Han Kyung-hee = ‘The Millionaire Next Door’ delves into the identity of ‘President’ Kang Woo-hyun, who established a virtual republic of 30,000 pyeong in Jeju.

He continues by introducing the ‘Sky Lighthouse’, the symbol of the republic. This place signifies that the 120 bulbs on the lighthouse illuminate the ‘Road to Heaven’ where people go after they die.
He divided the sky into 120 pieces, sold each for 1.21 million won, and recorded a sellout within just 20 days, achieving a profit of ‘140 million won’.
Hearing this, Seo Jang-hoon admired, “A modern-day Bong Yi Kim Seon-dal, aren’t you?”, to which Kang Woo-hyun replied, “I’m more creative than Kim Seon-dal”, bringing laughter to the scene.
Kang Woo-hyun also reveals his glamorous history as a ‘top designer of the 20th century’. Icons created by his hand include the ‘Thumbs Up Logo Bank’ remembered by every Korean and the mascot of ‘Gwacheon Land’ cherished by children of the 80s and 90s.
He boasts, “I received the equivalent of half an apartment price as a working fee at that time”, showing the prestige of the top-paid designer of the era.
At the location, it is also revealed that Kang Woo-hyun is an alumnus of ‘H University Art College’ along with Seo Jang-hoon’s father, and even shared the same major, which surprises everyone.
