Mukbang YouTuber Banzz recently deleted his 2 million subscriber channel after losing a “channel deletion” martial arts match, and his reunion with his opponent, comedian Yoon Hyung-bin, is drawing attention.
On the 16th, Banzz’s new channel released a video titled ‘Why Did You Do the Channel Deletion Bet?’.
In the video, Banzz invited Yoon Hyung-bin for a meat mukbang, who brought 2kg of Korean beef as a gift, and greeted warmly, “Banzz, how have you been?” to which Banzz responded, “Thanks to you.”
Yoon Hyung-bin introduced himself, “Hello. I’m a comedian and fighter, the man who defeated Banzz, channel exploder Yoon Hyung-bin,” and joked, “I’m sorry. I’m back on this channel again, somehow.”
When the PD expressed bitterness with, “We really thought back then,” Yoon Hyung-bin replied, “But to be honest, I suggested not deleting the channel until the last moment,” he revealed.

Banzz and Yoon Hyung-bin faced each other in a special match at ‘Gopne Road FC 073’ last June, where Banzz promised to delete his 2 million subscriber channel if he lost. Banzz was defeated by TKO in 1 minute and 42 seconds of the first round and kept his promise by deleting the channel.
Regarding his feelings at the time, Yoon Hyung-bin said, “I felt really heavy-hearted. I thought it wouldn’t actually be deleted. My rather trivial life is about surviving somehow, narrowly and long,” he said.
Then Banzz said, “I think I lost my channel but gained a brother. I was able to have you here as my guest. Would you be sitting here if I had won?” and Yoon Hyung-bin humorously replied, “Yes, I would have come. Probably with chicken instead of beef.”
Yoon Hyung-bin inquired, “Was it really okay after deleting the channel? Honestly, it has always lingered in my mind,” he said.

Banzz said, “I wasn’t really okay, but I did a lot of self-persuasion,” he revealed. “Thinking that it’s okay made it feel okay. It’s something I promised, so I thought I had to keep it.”
He explained, “If I didn’t keep that promise, the organization ‘Road FC’ would become a mockery. Bringing celebrities and YouTubers just for attention and not keeping promises would give that impression.”
He confessed, “Because of me, only our company got damaged.”
To this, the production team added subtitles saying ‘I almost lost my job’ which provoked laughter.
When the PD asked, “Why did you propose the channel deletion in the first place?” Yoon Hyung-bin replied, “You ask with such intensity,” he laughed and said, “To be honest, in the fighting scene, we need to create issues. During the match, I threw four provocations hoping for one to catch, but the channel deletion issue was too big,” he explained.
He clarified, “I really didn’t think he would actually delete it. I thought we could spin it into something fun,” to which Banzz emphasized, “But I cut off that possibility entirely.”
