[Seoul=RNX News] Reporter Seo-yeon Jung = The newly born 2025 KBS 2TV one-act project ‘Love: Track’ will knock on the home theater this winter.
The 2025 KBS 2TV one-act project ‘Love: Track’ is a romance anthology containing 10 different love stories. KBS, which has maintained the authenticity of one-act plays for 41 years, is introducing a new one-act project ‘Love: Track’ that succeeds the legacy of the existing ‘Drama Special’ in line with the changing times.
From December 14 to 28, every Sunday at 10:50 PM and Wednesday at 9:50 PM, two episodes will be released each time, offering a short but intense love playlist to the year-end audience.
KBS’s one-act series, which started in 1984 with ‘Drama Game,’ has uniquely maintained regular programming among domestic broadcasters, discovering new writers, directors, and actors, thereby expanding the foundation of the Korean drama industry.
The newly introduced 2025 KBS 2TV one-act project ‘Love: Track’ continues this tradition, concentrating the most universal yet still unfamiliar emotion of ‘love’ into a 30-minute format romance anthology.
It expands the spectrum of the emotion of love by encompassing stories of romance and separation, unrequited love, familial love, as well as love in old age, non-marriage, and minority love in the unique flexible format of short stories.
First, on December 14 (Sun) at 10:50 PM, ‘Onion Soup After Work’ (Directed by Lee Young-seo, Written by Lee Sun-hwa) and ‘First Love is Earphones’ (Directed by Jung Kwang-soo, Written by Jung Hyo) will kick off the 2025 one-act project ‘Love: Track’.
Subsequently, on December 17 (Wed) at 9:50 PM, ‘Love Hotel’ (Directed by Bae Eun-hye, Written by Park Min-jung) and ‘The Night the Wolf Disappeared’ (Directed by Jung Kwang-soo, Written by Lee Sun-hwa) will be broadcast, followed by ‘No Man to Carry Dad’s Coffin’ (Directed by Bae Eun-hye, Written by Yeom Bora) and ‘Kimchi’ (Directed by Lee Young-seo, Written by Kang Han) on December 21 (Sun) at 10:50 PM.
On December 24 (Wed) at 9:50 PM, ‘A Star’s Love’ (Directed by Jung Kwang-soo, Written by Lee Sa-ha) and ‘Minji Minji Minji’ (Directed by Lee Young-seo, Written by Choi Yi-kyung) will be released, and on December 28 (Sun) at 10:50 PM, ‘Love Subscription Condition’ (Directed by Bae Eun-hye, Written by Kang Jeong-in) and ‘The Soundtrack That Doesn’t Exist in the World’ (Directed by Goo Sung-joon, Written by Yoo So-won) will be consecutively released, wrapping up the season.
The 10 works are organically connected like a playlist based on different emotions and narratives, completing independent and densely plotted stories hard to find in full-length dramas through various directorial sensibilities and characters.
Production staff stated, “The 2025 KBS 2TV one-act project ‘Love: Track’ is a collection of shorts that interpret the emotion of love from different perspectives.
We aim to once again demonstrate the power of one-act dramas to capture deeper and clearer emotions in a short time” and added, “We hope the 10 love stories leave a lasting impression on viewers’ hearts in different ways.”
Meanwhile, the 2025 KBS 2TV one-act project ‘Love: Track’ will premiere on December 14 (Sun) at 10:50 PM and play through December 28, airing every Sunday at 10:50 PM and Wednesday at 9:50 PM for a total of 10 episodes. [Photo provided by: 2025 KBS 2TV one-act project <Love: Track>]
