Teaser and character poster revealed for Yoon Ji-sung’s BL drama ‘Thundercloud Rainstorm’!

[Seoul=RNX News] Reporter Seoyeon Jeong = The highly anticipated second half of the year BL drama ‘Thundercloud Storm (total of 8 episodes)’ has heightened expectations with character posters and a teaser.

BL drama ‘Thundercloud Storm’, exclusively released on the OTT platform Wavve on the upcoming 28th, unveiled character posters and teaser videos of the two lead actors on the 22nd and 23rd.

First, the character poster of Lee Il-jo (Yoon Ji-sung) captures Il-jo’s emotions, who can’t easily hide his feelings. 

His eyes are mixed with anxiety and anticipation, and it fully reveals a precarious emotional state that seems about to crumble at a word from the other person. The ‘momentary thrill’ when Il-jo begins to be attracted to Jeong-han, and the clumsy attempt to hide that thrill, are fully captured in a single poster.

Next, Seo Jeong-han (Jung Ri-woo)’s character poster presents a completely different temperature. Behind the gently smiling Jeong-han under the sunlight, a special gaze directed only at Il-jo naturally blends in, hinting at the direction of their relationship.

Although he seems indifferent on the outside, Jeong-han’s emotional flow, where he starts to notice Il-jo faster than anyone else, intrigues viewers. The contrasting atmosphere of the two raises both the tension and excitement of the relationship, amplifying the curiosity.

The simultaneously released character teaser video showcases how the beginning and emotions of the two evolve in condensed form. 

It subtly but profoundly expresses the emotional flow, from the initial distance where they cannot easily approach each other, to the changes in emotional lines that begin to shift minutely after an unexpected event, maximizing emotional depth.

‘Thundercloud Storm’ is a BL drama depicting the intense romance of young people, where a relationship born out of sympathy transforms into jealousy and possessiveness. Based on the popular web novel by Che Sim, it tells the story of cousins Lee Il-jo and Seo Jeong-han, who reunite at their late uncle’s funeral.

Meanwhile, ‘Thundercloud Storm’ will be first released on Wavve on the 28th, with two episodes released sequentially every Friday at midnight.
