[Seoul=RNX News] Reporter Seo-Yeon Jeong = The new drama ‘Spirit Fingers’ has unveiled the first still of Choi Bo-min in the role of ‘Blue Finger’, a perfect example of a ‘Cool Guy’ targeting the MZ generation.
‘Spirit Fingers’ (directed by Lee Cheol-ha/script by Jeong Yoon-jeong·Kwon Yi-ji/original Naver Webtoon ‘Spirit Fingers’ by author Han Gyeong-chal/produced by Number Three Pictures·MI·Kenaz) is a colorful healing romance drama about youths setting off to find their own color.
The drama, based on a popular completed Naver Webtoon of the same name, is gaining much anticipation from fans. Choi Bo-min, known for his fresh visuals and delicate emotional performances in dramas like ‘Melting Me Softly’ and ‘18 Again’, is starring.
In this work, he will take on the role of ‘Gu Sun-ho’, a ‘Blue Finger’ who seems perfect but carries loneliness and a long-lasting unrequited love, making home theaters fill with excitement.
Gu Sun-ho is a perfect man with a handsome appearance, drawing skills, and athletic ability. He leads Song Woo-yeon (Park Ji-hoo) to the drawing group and is the charismatic ‘flower smile’ that charms at first sight. Yet, there is someone else occupying his heart.
It is Nam Green (Park Yoo-na), whom he has had a crush on since middle school for seven years. The only person who knows this is Green’s brother, Nam Ki-jeong (Jo Joon-young). Initially, he thought it was fortunate, but as time passes, his deepening unrequited love leads to frustration and exhaustion, making viewers’ hearts ache.
With his handsome looks, unique talent, and deep first-love narrative, he is expected to establish himself as the ‘Cool Guy’ representative of the ‘MZ generation. The production team stated, “Choi Bo-min’s portrayal of Gu Sun-ho combines a refreshing charm that captivates at first sight with a deep unrequited love story,” adding, “It will delicately convey the excitement and longing of a first love that everyone can relate to.”
“Especially, Choi Bo-min will bring out 200% of the charm of the original Gu Sun-ho, satisfying fans’ expectations,” they added, raising anticipation.
The drama ‘Spirit Fingers’ will be exclusively released on TVING on October 29th (Wednesday).
