[Seoul=RNX News] Reporter Han Kyunghee = MBN’s ‘Puzzle Trip’ Kim Wonhee unexpectedly gifts a luxurious hanbok, drawing interest in her first meeting with fellow 72-year-old overseas adoptee Carrie.

MBN 30th Anniversary Special Planning 3-episode series ‘Puzzle Trip’ is a real observation travel program that captures the authentic Korean travel experiences of overseas adoptees who come to Korea searching for their ‘lost puzzle piece,’ themselves, and their family.

Selected for production support in the public non-drama category by the Korea Creative Content Agency for 2025 broadcast video content, the series brings tears of emotion as it allows viewers to feel the condensed rollercoaster journey of life through the paths of overseas adoptees and star puzzle guides.

Both Carrie and Kim Wonhee are surprised from the first encounter to find they are the same age. Not only are they similar in age, but they also share a similar height and interests, quickly becoming close friends.

Amidst this, it is revealed that Kim Wonhee has selflessly prepared a luxurious hanbok as a surprise gift for Carrie, capturing attention.

Kim Wonhee gifts Carrie a green hanbok skirt and a white jeogori, and together they wear matching outfits with Kim Wonhee in a yellow hanbok skirt and white jeogori, resembling true sisters. Touched by the unexpected gift, Carrie beams with a broad smile, saying, “I’ll wear this to work too.”

Transformed into hanbok beauties resembling each other, Kim Wonhee and Carrie board a rickshaw to tour Bukchon together and sit in a cafe sharing deep conversations, embarking on a special Bukchon outing. The warmth they extend toward each other spreads a comforting aura to onlookers.

On this day, watching Carrie’s journey to find her mother and the genuine connection between Kim Wonhee and Carrie, Choi Soo-jong emotionally says, “We’ve found a lost puzzle piece,” prompting Kim Wonhee, Kim Nayoung, and Yang Ji-eun to flood the studio with tears.

Ultimately, Choi Soo-jong humorously laments, “All of our faces are a sight. Our eyes are all red,” eliciting laughter.

The ‘Puzzle Trip’ production team stated, “Kim Wonhee not only prepared a luxurious hanbok at her own expense for Carrie but also cooked a home meal, building a deep friendship,” adding, “Please look forward to their more than sisterly warm interaction as seen in the show,” heightening anticipation for the broadcast of ‘Puzzle Trip’.

MBN 30th Anniversary Special Planning 3-episode series ‘Puzzle Trip’ premieres on November 27th at 10:20 PM.
