Singer Seojin Park has once again moved hearts with his warm good deeds. Recently, he won on MBN’s ‘Current King of Singers 2’ and donated his entire prize of 100 million won to wildfire recovery, continuing his positive influence.
The donation was delivered to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to support wildfire victims in areas such as Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam. Right after his victory, Seojin Park announced his intention to donate his entire prize, saying, “I want to give back to the people who showed me love.” He chose the wildfire-stricken regions as his donation recipient because he has cherished memories there with his fans, making it even more meaningful for him.
Seojin Park expressed his warm heart by saying, “I hope it helps, even if just a little,” and “I hope it gives some strength to the residents of the affected areas.”
In fact, this is not the first time Seojin Park has donated. Starting with COVID-19 relief donations in 2020, he has consistently contributed and volunteered in various areas such as youth scholarships, support for single mothers, sponsorship for patients with incurable diseases, and protection of abandoned animals.
During the Lunar New Year, he also donated 10 million won to the international relief NGO World Vision, and a total of 27.8 million won to welfare facilities and schools in his hometown of Samcheonpo, as well as welfare organizations in Seoul and Busan. Volunteer activities conducted with his official fan club ‘Datch Star’ also support his consistent actions.
