Singer BIBI and global dance crew 1MILLION are coming together.
BIBI’s new double single ‘Dere’, set to be released on the 14th, features 1MILLION’s Amy and Ready as performance directors for the title track of the same name.
This is a substantial collaboration between 1MILLION, known for their original choreography, earning them the nickname ‘K-pop Performance Mecca’, and BIBI.
Amy and Ready from 1MILLION said, “We had high expectations because we were collaborating with an artist we always liked, and when thinking about the unique vibe that only BIBI can deliver, there were many things we wanted to try.” They reminisced on the meaningful process, saying, “When we heard the music, the dreamy atmosphere and cute yet sexy voice stimulated a lot of ideas, causing us to start imagining various things right away.”
The performance is groundbreaking in a new way.
It will offer a different charm than BIBI’s previous stages, which emphasized intense and powerful vibes.
The key point is a mischievous cat-like performance pretending to be shy.
The performance created by the combination of BIBI and 1MILLION will be partially revealed first in the music video, followed by a separate performance video. This completes the ‘hot lineup’ for BIBI’s new single.
Both tracks are expected to show a perfect synergy by organically combining with BIBI’s world, who participated in the lyrics and composition.
‘Dere’ is receiving hot attention with composition by producer Frank, music video directed by Sagaji Video’s Kim Hyun-soo, and special collaboration with actor Jeon Jong-seo.
On the other track ‘Burn It’, Dean, known for his unique sensibility, participated in the featuring, completing a unique R&B sound.
As the release of the new single approaches in two days, BIBI’s November is expected to flow even hotter.
Expanding into acting, BIBI is causing quite a stir with the original Disney+ series ‘Gangnam Bi-Side’ and SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama ‘Hot-Blooded Priest 2’, both making notable waves in their first week of release.
‘Gangnam Bi-Side’ is entering the global TOP10, starting a worldwide box office success, while ‘Hot-Blooded Priest 2’ recorded the highest viewership rating for the first broadcast of an SBS Friday-Saturday drama.
