[Star Daily News=Hwang Kyujun Reporter] On the 31st broadcast of ENA, SBS Plus ‘I am SOLO, Then Love Continues’ (hereinafter ‘SOLO Love Continues’), the twist of the heart of Season 5 Jungsoo, who tears up in front of Season 18 Jungsook, will be revealed.
Previously, Season 5 Jungsoo made a shocking decision not to choose a date between Season 15 Sunja and Season 18 Jungsook after much consideration. On this day, after ending his internal tug-of-war, Season 5 Jungsoo calls out Season 18 Jungsook, who is enjoying a late-night snack with other men and women. Season 18 Jungsook follows Season 5 Jungsoo, and Season 5 Jungsoo heads to the bench where Season 18 Jungsook had sat during the previous date selection.
Subsequently, Season 5 Jungsoo asks, “Did you sit here?” and points to the opposite side where Season 15 Yeongho had sat during his date with Season 18 Jungsook, saying, “I’ll sit here.” His remark meant to counter Season 15 Yeongho makes Season 18 Jungsook burst into laughter. Season 5 Jungsoo then asks, “Can I tell my story first and then ask questions? Please listen, even if it’s boring.” He continues, “Honestly, it was tough to conclude my thoughts. Anyway, initially, I chose Season 15 Sunja,” explaining the reasons for his prolonged contemplation.
Encouraged by Season 5 Jungsoo’s confession, Season 18 Jungsook starts by saying, “But if I tell my story,” and candidly reveals, “The most memorable thing was when we talked about age.” She continues, “That (age) is something I can’t change,” using hand gestures to express how much her feelings decreased after the age remark.
Flustered, Season 5 Jungsoo hesitates for a moment and then says, “The reason I think (marriage) is late is…” and suddenly tears up. Eventually, he says, “I feel like I’ll cry if I tell this story,” and pauses to hold back tears. Season 18 Jungsook feels sympathy for him but calmly expresses her feelings again.
