[Seoul=RNX News] Reporter Seoyeon Jung = ‘My Youth’ Song Joong-ki, Chun Woo-hee evoke a fluttering excitement in viewers with a first-love reunion romance.

On September 5th, JTBC’s new Friday series ‘My Youth’(Written by Park Si-hyun, Directed by Lee Sang-yeob·Ko Hye-jin, Provided by SLL, Produced by HiZium Studio) will premiere, and on the 13th released a 1st teaser video showing the reunion of first loves at nineteen, Sun Woo-hae (played by Song Joong-ki) and Seong Jae-yeon (played by Chun Woo-hee).

‘My Youth’ depicts the emotional romance of Sun Woo-hae, who started an ordinary life later than others, and Seong Jae-yeon, who unexpectedly has to disrupt the peace of first love.

The journey of reuniting with a first love, who gifted a dazzling moment to a dark and shadowed place, and regaining forgotten pieces of ‘I’ offers warmth and excitement amidst smiles.

With director Lee Sang-yeob, known for his delicate and deeply emotional direction in the series ‘Yumi’s Cells’ and ‘Familiar Wife’, and writer Park Si-hyun, known for her sensuous writing in ‘Run On’, joining forces, drama fans are further excited.

If the previous opening teaser video and teaser poster heightened curiosity about the first love of nineteen-year-old boys and girls, the 1st teaser video released that day makes one anticipate the brilliant chapters to come as the reunited adults redraw their stories.

‘Seong Jae-yeon’, who was the only light in Sun Woo-hae’s shaded nineteen. In the eyes of Sun Woo-hae, who calls out the name of a first love he can’t forget even in dreams, is more than just amazement; there’s tenderness.

The moment they face each other, recalling the first love that was pure and full of dreams, added with Seong Jae-yeon’s words, “It would be a lie to say I never thought of you. Meeting you again brought me back to those days” revives the emotions of first love buried deep within the heart.

The hope that even small wounds of Sun Woo-hae will heal quickly remains unchanged for Seong Jae-yeon, both at nineteen and now.

The warm gaze of Sun Woo-hae towards Seong Jae-yeon remains the same. Sun Woo-hae’s voice asking, “Did you miss me too? How I grew up” conveys his longing for first love Seong Jae-yeon.

Even as time passes, the fact of ‘first love’ remains unchanged for Sun Woo-hae, and interest is focused on the reunion romance that Sun Woo-hae and Seong Jae-yeon will portray again.

Song Joong-ki transforms into ‘Sun Woo-hae’, a former child star who burned through his prime too early and now a novelist and florist.

After the short-lived prime, as he exhausted his twenties for subsistence, he is a character who has built a solid life over his wounds. He faces changes as he meets first love ‘Seong Jae-yeon’ amidst a peaceful routine.

Chun Woo-hee passionately plays ‘Seong Jae-yeon’, who is a bulldozer management team leader who likes clarity and Sun Woo-hae’s first love.

Seong Jae-yeon, living an unremarkable reality, disrupts the peace of first love Sun Woo-hae, and instead faces forgotten emotions. The reunion of Sun Woo-hae and Seong Jae-yeon, each other’s first love, already brings anticipation on how it will stir up thrilling chaos in their daily lives.

Upon the release of the 1st teaser video, various SNS and online communities were flooded with hot responses such as “Song Joong-ki, Chun Woo-hee have such a good vibe. Nostalgic yet exciting visual chemistry” “Song Joong-ki, Chun Woo-hee as nineteen first loves – just what I wanted” “Hae, and Jae-yeon’s nineteen years are cute, and the present is exciting.”
