Hollywood actor Robert Pattinson expressed his respect for director Bong Joon-ho. On the morning of the 20th, a screening and press conference for the movie ‘Mickey 17’ was held at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

On that day, Robert Pattinson said, “Director Bong Joon-ho is one of only 4 to 5 directors of that level worldwide.
Every actor wants to work with him,” he praised. He continued, “When you watch Bong’s films, the worldview is very unique.
It touches a very personal and emotional line.
It’s hard to describe in words, especially in terms of performance. I watched ‘Memories of Murder’ a long time ago, and it freely crossed between unbelievable and very serious situations,” he said. Pattinson added, “I really wanted to do that kind of movie,” and said he was excited when Bong thought of him for ‘Mickey 17’ and quickly agreed to the project.
He confidently said, “My favorite movie by Director Bong will probably be ‘Mickey 17’.
In response, Director Bong asked, “Tell me who those 4 to 5 directors are,” and Pattinson joked, “I still have to continue my career.
That’s it for now,” making the audience laugh. Pattinson also said, “Actors want to work with someone who challenges their limits and presents and creates something new.
That’s what Director Bong’s movies do,” he said. “I have never worked with a director of this working style before.
