[Seoul=RNX News] Reporter Seo-yeon Jeong = Actors Lee Dong-hwi, Bang Hyo-rin, Ong Seong-wu, and Han Ji-hyun will open the 2025 KBS 2TV short drama project ‘Love: Track’.
The 2025 KBS 2TV short drama project ‘Love: Track’ is a romance anthology containing 10 different love stories. KBS, which has maintained its traditional short drama format for 41 years, presents a new short drama project ‘Love: Track’ to continue the legacy of the existing ‘Drama Special’ in line with the changing times.
On December 14th (Sunday) at 10:50 PM, ‘Onion Soup After Work’ (Directed by Lee Young-seo/Screenplay by Lee Sun-hwa) and ‘First Love is a Wired Headphone’ (Directed by Jung Kwang-soo/Screenplay by Jung Hyo) will be broadcast back-to-back. These two works, each with their own charm, aim to deliver warm year-end sentiments to viewers.
First, ‘Onion Soup After Work’ (Directed by Lee Young-seo, Screenplay by Lee Sun-hwa) is about a man trying to find out why the only comfort in his weary life, onion soup, has been erased from the menu, and the push and pull story between him and a chef.
Lee Dong-hwi plays the role of Park Mu-an, a pharmaceutical company salesperson, in ‘Onion Soup After Work’. Mu-an is a typical office worker who is constantly scolded at work and lives each day enduringly without friends or a lover.
The onion soup at his regular restaurant after work is his only joy, but one day it disappears from the menu, bringing change to his daily life. Bang Hyo-rin plays the role of Han Da-jeong, a chef running a French home-style dining restaurant in the drama.
She finds ultimate happiness in the moments when customers enjoy her food, but one day she boldly removes onion soup from the menu.
The sweet push-and-pull romance around onion soup between regular customer Mu-an and chef Da-jeong, combined with the delicious chemistry of Lee Dong-hwi and Bang Hyo-rin, is expected to enhance the completeness of the work.
The same day’s broadcast is ‘First Love is a Wired Headphone’ (Directed by Jung Kwang-soo, Screenplay by Jung Hyo), which depicts the story of a high school senior girl meeting a delinquent boy in 2010 and facing her own dreams and love.
Ong Seong-wu transforms into Ki Hyun-ha, a free-spirited soul who dreams of being a composer, in ‘First Love is a Wired Headphone’.
After accidentally discovering Yeong-seo’s (played by Han Ji-hyun) secret, Hyun-ha begins to truly support her dreams, bringing the two closer and leading them to start feeling special emotions for each other.
Han Ji-hyun plays the role of Han Yeong-seo, a model student with a brilliant mind in the drama. Although she is the top student in school and receives the expectations of her mother and teachers, she harbors a longing for freedom and a rebellious spirit against the world.
The poignant first love emotion completed by Ong Seong-wu and Han Ji-hyun is expected to bring excitement to the living room.
