[Seoul=RNX News] Reporter Seo-yeon Jung = JTBC ‘Love Me’ Seo Hyun-jin-Yu Jae-myung-Lee Si-woo’s 7 years ago ‘that day’ still cuts have been released.

Coming December 19th (Friday) first broadcast JTBC new Friday series ‘Love Me’(Director Cho Young-min, Script Park Eun-young·Park Hee-kwon, Production SLL·How Pictures) had nothing to envy family, gynecologist daughter Seo Jun-kyung(Seo Hyun-jin), Dong office chief husband Seo Jin-ho(Yu Jae-myung), college student youngest Seo Jun-seo(Lee Si-woo).

However, 7 years ago, an event struck them like a thunderbolt and shattered their lives. It was the traffic accident of mother Kim Mi-ran (Jang Hye-jin), unveiled through the teaser video, bringing shock.

The still cuts released today (1st) show ‘that day’ 7 years ago, the beginning of the tragedy. Right after Mi-ran’s accident, Jun-kyung’s dazed expression waiting in front of the operating room, Jin-ho’s fear and anxiety, Jun-seo’s trembling as he holds back tears spark curiosity about a story we haven’t yet heard, but has already begun.

After the accident, Jun-kyung, who runs away from the family amidst responsibility and regret, Jin-ho, who endures taking care of Mi-ran and making a living, and Jun-seo, who wanders with nowhere to lean on, gradually become the loneliest beings to each other. This fact becomes the starting point of the ‘Love Me’ narrative.

The production team stated “The released still cuts show the despair, anxiety, and sadness cast over Jun-kyung, Jin-ho, and Jun-seo’s faces on that day” as well as, “Mir-ran’s accident 7 years ago is the starting point of the family narrative.

The reason for the accident is known, but the truly important thing is not ‘what was lost’ that day but ‘what remains’” adding, “The moment the family, isolated by different emotions, meets each other’s eyes again will be the real starting point of ‘Love Me’.”

Continuing “We ask you to join the process where the three family members acknowledge loneliness and learn to love again, the most beautiful moments.”

Meanwhile, ‘Love Me’ is a story about a family that was perhaps more selfish and thus more ordinary, who begin their individual journeys of love and growth.

It is based on the Swedish original series of the same name created by Josephine Bornebusch, and has also been remade with the same title ‘Love Me’ in Australia on BINGE/FOXTEL. ‘Love Me’ will air on December 19th (Friday) at 8:50 PM, JTBC with back-to-back episodes 1-2.
