The series “Let’s Get Married, Maengkkong!” showcases dramatic episodes in every installment.
In episode 18 of the KBS1 daily drama “Let’s Get Married, Maengkkong!” which was scheduled to air on the 30th, exciting stories surrounding Maeng Gong-hee (played by Park Ha-na) captured the audience’s attention. In yesterday’s broadcast, the revelation of Eom Hong-dan’s (played by Park Tam-hee) pregnancy surprised everyone.
After being diagnosed with early menopause by Maeng Gong-bu (played by Lee Eun-hyung), she was overjoyed with the news of her pregnancy.
Hong-dan began by saying, “If Maeng Gong-bu has a baby…” to which Gong-bu replied in shock, “What a terrible thing to say!
My baby, you say?” He was visibly flustered and didn’t know what to do.
This raised curiosity about how their relationship would change. The relationship between former lovers Seo Min-ki (played by Kim Sa-kwon) and Kang Ji-na (played by Lee Yeon-doo) also grew distant.
Min-ki, who asked Gong-hee to finish a project proposal, was observed by Ji-na, who raised her voice questioning if such tasks should be given to an intern.
Following this, a prolonged argument ensued, deepening the rift between them. Meanwhile, when Maeng Kyung-bok (played by Yoon Bok-in) suspected the relationship between Oh-dre-a (played by Choi Su-rin) and Maeng Kyung-tae (played by Choi Jae-sung), she set out to clear the misunderstanding.
However, instead of getting angry, Myung-ja expressed gratitude, saying, “Thank you.
If my husband had chosen it alone, he would have picked something odd,” adding to the sentiment with a thank you for visiting.
Nonetheless, she was upset with Kyung-tae, questioning if he bought shoes under Oh-dre-a’s influence, and displayed complex emotions towards her husband, eliciting sympathy from viewers. Ji-na also met with Chairman Hwang Ik-sun (played by Yang Hee-kyung).
Chairman Hwang advised Ji-na to meet Dansu a bit more, and after contemplating for a moment, Ji-na responded with a meaningful, “I needed a partner to draw a bigger picture with me.” At the end of the broadcast, Gong-hee, who was at Im Soon-i’s (played by Ban Hyo-jung) hospital room, received a call from Min-ki with excitement, which didn’t go unnoticed by her mother Myung-ja.
Myung-ja discovered that Min-ki is the son of her enemy Jung Ju-ri (played by Jeon Soo-kyung).
This left audiences curious about the fate of Gong-hee and Min-ki.
