Lee Min-ki exudes chic charm and intense charisma… ‘Face Me’ poster-making scene

The chemistry of stylish beauty between actors Lee Min-ki and Han Ji-hyun is revealed in the poster filming scene of KBS2’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Face Me’.

The behind-the-scenes video of the ‘Face Me’ poster, released on the 31st, shows Lee Min-ki (as Cha Jung-woo) and Han Ji-hyun (as Lee Min-hyung) seamlessly blending into their characters.

First, Lee Min-ki, who plays double-board certified doctor Cha Jung-woo, adept in both emergency medicine and plastic surgery, appeared in a doctor’s coat.

He seemed awkward at first, but once filming began, his gaze changed dramatically, showcasing both chic charm and charisma, capturing attention. Han Ji-hyun, who plays passionate MZ detective Lee Min-hyung, not only perfectly suited the leather jacket but also faithfully embodied her character’s enthusiastic persona.

Especially, her varying expressions with the camera’s on and off moments naturally brought smiles to the viewers. Although they play opposite roles in the drama, Lee Min-ki and Han Ji-hyun showed off great chemistry at the scene.

They created a harmonious atmosphere by chatting before starting and took on the shoot after thoroughly understanding the concept.

Particularly, the shot where Lee Min-ki seemed to embrace Han Ji-hyun’s head with a serious expression raises expectations for the synergy their fantastic combination will bring even before the broadcast. In a scene where their faces meet, Lee Min-ki was seen warmly fixing Han Ji-hyun’s hair as it poked into her eyes.

Soon, the two emitted intense glances, displaying proficient facial expressions as if they were possessed by their characters to track down a case. The shoot also stood out for utilizing clothing and props.

Standing with Lee Min-ki in a doctor’s coat and Han Ji-hyun wearing a detective ID around her neck, they naturally reminded one of Cha Jung-woo and Lee Min-hyung.

Additionally, their looks in different directions stimulated curiosity about how their contrasting chemistries would be portrayed. ‘Face Me’ will first air on November 6th at 9:50 PM, following ‘Dog Barking’. Reporter Yoo Ji-hee yjhh@edaily.co.kr
