
[Seoul=RNX News] Reporter Seo-yeon Jeong = Lee Jae-wook, Choi Sung-eun, and Kim Gun-woo form an intriguing love triangle in ‘Last Summer’.
Set to premiere on November 1st, Saturday at 9:20 PM, KBS 2TV’s new Sat-Sun miniseries ‘Last Summer’ (Directed by Min Yeon-hong / Written by Jeon Yu-ri / Produced by Monster Union, Slingshot Studio) is a renovation romance drama where childhood friends face the hidden truth of their first love inside Pandora’s box.
Lee Jae-wook takes on the role of skilled architect Baek Do-ha, Choi Sung-eun plays Do-ha’s childhood friend and ‘troublemaker’ architectural public servant Song Ha-gyeong, and Kim Gun-woo stars as courtroom appeals specialist lawyer Seo Su-hyeok in this drama coming to the small screen.
The current storyline involves Ha-gyeong entangled in Do-ha’s lawsuit and Su-hyeok, who takes on Do-ha’s defense. The interwoven episodes of these three characters promise to entertain prospective viewers.
In the stills released today (22nd), Do-ha, Ha-gyeong, and Su-hyeok’s trip to the amusement park is captured, drawing attention.
Do-ha and Su-hyeok, with Ha-gyeong standing between them, exude an intriguing tension despite the warm visuals, announcing the start of a love triangle. Curiosity mounts over what brought the three to the amusement park.
‘Last Summer’ adds depth to the narrative by going beyond a simple romance and exploring the complex relationships among the characters. Particularly, the transformation of Do-ha and Su-hyeok from a ‘client and lawyer’ relationship into rivals, with Ha-gyeong at the center, promises to pique interest.
The combination of Ha-gyeong forming a new relationship due to Do-ha also aims to double the fun. As seen in the stills, the trio engrossed in a serious conversation heightens curiosity.
Meanwhile, Lee Jae-wook and Kim Gun-woo transform into Do-ha with chic and deep gazes, and Su-hyeok with a rational and calm charm, respectively, approaching Ha-gyeong. Choi Sung-eun is also anticipated to portray the strong-willed Song Ha-gyeong vividly, skillfully expressing complex emotions between her childhood friend and the new characters.
