“Large Family” Lee Seung-gi: “Shaved head scene, I tried not to look similar to Won Bin in ‘The Man from Nowhere'”

Actor Lee Seung-gi shared his thoughts on shaving his head for a monk role. On the morning of the 12th, a production briefing for the movie ‘Big Family’ was held at Lotte Cinema Konkuk University in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.

Director Yang Woo-seok, actors Kim Yoon-seok, Lee Seung-gi, Kim Sung-ryung, Kang Han-na, and Park Soo-young attended the event. On this day, Lee Seung-gi said, “Shaving my head was not a big burden.”

Acting in this combination was a much bigger dream for me.

But the moment I shaved my head, I thought, ‘Oh?

This is serious trouble.’

After shaving it all, it was much shorter than I expected,” he recalled. He continued, “After shaving, I had to wear a wig for 3-4 months due to overlapping schedules.

Senior Park Soo-young highly recommended it, and I agree.

However, I think it’s important to simulate enough and make a careful choice,” he advised. Lee Seung-gi also responded to comments comparing him to Won Bin in the movie ‘The Man From Nowhere’ by saying, “I tried not to be similar as much as possible.

I shaved from this end in the opposite direction.

The purpose of shaving is different,” he added with a smile.

Meanwhile, ‘Big Family’ is a family comedy about unexpected cohabitation that occurs when cute grandchildren, whom he has never seen before, visit the owner of the dumpling restaurant ‘Pyungmanok,’ Ham Moo-ok (Kim Yoon-seok), whose family line is cut off because his son Ham Moon-seok (Lee Seung-gi) becomes a monk.
