ENA’s new Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Namib’ has been scheduled to premiere on December 23rd at 10 PM, as announced by the production team on the 8th.
‘Namib’ is a drama about the meeting of fired star producer Kang Soo-hyun (Ko Hyun-jung) and released long-term trainee Yoo Jin-woo (Ryo Woon) who advance towards their respective goals. It is drawing attention for the return of the queen Ko Hyun-jung (as Kang Soo-hyun), hot rising actor Ryo Woon, Yoon Sang-hyun (as Shim Joon-seok) with a wide spectrum from good to villain roles, and emerging youth star Lee Jin-woo (as Shim Jin-woo), appealing to all generations.
Just like the title ‘Namib,’ meaning the place where desert and sea meet, it is heightening expectations on what kind of ensemble these characters will create. Ko Hyun-jung, who has been loved in numerous works like ‘Mask Girl’ and ‘Person Like You,’ will passionately perform as Kang Soo-hyun, who is fired from her co-representative position at Pandora Entertainment.
Ryo Woon, who left a strong impression in various works like ‘Shining Watermelon’ and ‘Flower Scholar Love Story,’ takes the role of long-term trainee Yoo Jin-woo belonging to Kang Soo-hyun’s company.
Yoon Sang-hyun, who has established himself as an actor you can rely on through various works like ‘Perfect Family’ and ’18 Again,’ will play the role of Kang Soo-hyun’s husband, Shim Joon-seok.
Additionally, Lee Jin-woo, recognized for his potential in ‘Caffeine Romance’ and ‘Just a Flick of a Finger,’ assumes the role of Shim Jin-woo, the only child of Kang Soo-hyun and Shim Joon-seok. ENA expressed, “Beginning with ‘Crash’ in the first half, followed by ‘Your Honor,’ ‘To My Harry,’ and ‘Tasting Romance’ in the second half, we sincerely thank the viewers for their warm support of ENA dramas this year.
