In the video, Kim Dae-ho attended a farewell party by MBC’s Announcer Department commemorating his departure.
Regarding his decision to turn freelance, Kim Dae-ho said, “Honestly, my top reason wasn’t money,” and “I held a personal standard that the debt I had with the company had reduced a bit.”

MBC Announcer Department Director Cha Mi-yeon also expressed regret over Kim Dae-ho’s freelance declaration.
Cha Mi-yeon said, “I was really sad,” adding, “there was so much talk of him going freelance right as he was getting famous, so it wasn’t surprising but I wondered ‘is it now?’”
When asked by the production team if he felt sorry for leaving his colleagues in the Announcer Department, Kim Dae-ho wittily replied, “Why would I be sorry?” bringing laughter.
Kim Dae-ho joined MBC in 2011 as the 30th announcer recruit. He also continued his activities as an entertainer by appearing on the entertainment program ‘I Live Alone’. Last year, he won the Excellence Award at MBC Entertainment Awards.
After leaving MBC, Kim Dae-ho signed an exclusive contract with ‘One Hundred’, established by singer MC Mong, last month.
