Kim Dae-ho, the announcer who returned two months after resigning, teamed up with JTBC to launch his first solo web entertainment show bearing his name.
JTBC Digital Studio ‘Studio HOOK’ announced it will release the first episode of the new web entertainment ‘Heuksimin Daeho’, featuring Kim Dae-ho, on its YouTube channel on May 8 (Thursday) at 6:30 PM.
‘Heuksimin Daeho’ is a slow healing content spotlighting the hidden villages and natural beauty within the city, embodying Kim Dae-ho’s unique friendliness and sincerity. As his first solo project after transitioning to freelancing, it will showcase the true daily life of the ‘free’ Daeho, working and laughing in nature.
The first filming took place near Hongje-dong, Seoul, where Kim Dae-ho transformed into the so-called ‘Natural Person of Hongje-dong’, offering big laughs with the unpredictable chemistry with the production crew. Kim Dae-ho, sincere in his work, bombarded the production team with constant nagging, while the crew displayed clumsy skills, creating a humorous atmosphere, according to reports.
Additionally, Kim Dae-ho could not hide his awe mentioning, “I’ve traveled around the country, but it’s my first time in a place like this within the city,” and expressed his anticipation for new challenges and immersion saying, “There has never been YouTube like this before!”
This project, blending simple healing in nature, entertainment laughs, and Kim Dae-ho’s unadorned authenticity, is receiving attention as a new possibility for web content breaking away from traditional broadcasting formats.
Kim Dae-ho’s new beginning, ‘Heuksimin Daeho’, will be first released on May 8 and will be sequentially available through JTBC’s digital channel.
