Kang Yooseok takes on the role of Um Jae-il, a first-year resident, and will work with Go Yoon-jung (Oh Yi-young), Shinsia (Pyo Nam-gyeong), Han Ye-ji (Kim Sa-bi), Jung Joon-won (Koo Do-won), showcasing lively life in the doctors’ office.
The released teaser video shows the residents tensed by the professor’s (played by Lee Hyun-kyun) reprimands and the urgent scene of the four rushing out barely taking a bite of a burger, foreseeing unpredictable resident life.
The production team stated, “‘WiseResident’ is made to be a relatable story for all young adults as it depicts the protagonists growing through their lack of knowledge, skill, and leisure,” and requested anticipation for the youthful stories of overcoming trials in their own ways.
