Admits to Being Father of Model Moongabi’s Son Born the Day Before

(Seoul=Yonhap News) Reporters Kim Kyung-yun and Oh Myung-eon = Actor Jung Woo-sung (51) who admitted to being the father of model Moongabi’s (35) recently born son, will appear at an official event four days later.
Jung Woo-sung’s agency, Artist Company, stated in a phone call with Yonhap News on the 25th, “Jung Woo-sung will attend the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards on the 29th as scheduled.”
Jung Woo-sung is a strong contender for the Best Actor award for his movie ‘Spring in Seoul,’ which drew 13 million viewers last year.
Should he receive the Best Actor award for the first time in five years since ‘Witness’ in 2019, it will be of interest whether Jung Woo-sung will personally address his stance on the son he had with Moongabi during his acceptance speech.
Jung Woo-sung’s side confirmed the previous day that the son recently born to Moongabi is his child and stated, “We are discussing the best way to approach raising the child. (Jung Woo-sung) will fulfill his responsibilities for the child to the end.”
However, they did not mention any plans for marriage or their relationship with Moongabi.
According to entertainment media outlet Dispatch, the two first met at a gathering in 2022, and it is known that they were not officially dating.
As the agency firmly stated the previous day that they cannot confirm any ‘personal matters such as the timing of childbirth, whether Moongabi and Jung Woo-sung were dating, or marriage plans,’ there is a possibility that Jung Woo-sung may not mention his child at the Blue Dragon Film Awards.
However, considering his history of expressing his opinions publicly, there is also speculation that he may confront the issue of his child born out of wedlock directly.
Jung Woo-sung has been outspoken in his political views and has actively voiced concerns on refugee issues as a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador from 2015 to July this year.
