‘National Singer’ Insooni will meet the audience through a year-end dinner show. According to her agency, Starit Entertainment, on the 15th, Insooni will hold the ‘2024 Insooni Dinner Show’ on December 30th and 31st at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas. The ‘2024 Insooni Dinner Show’ is Insooni’s first solo dinner show in 5 years since her last performance in December 2019, allowing the audience to enjoy her passion and energy in a vivid live performance rather than just on television. The Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas, where the dinner show will be held, has been selected as the official hotel of the ‘2024 Asia 50 Best Restaurants,’ considered the Academy Awards of gastronomy, drawing significant public interest for the high-quality banquet and performance. Debuting as a member of the female group Hee Sisters in 1978, Insooni became Korea’s top diva in 1983 with the big hit ‘Every Night,’ and she possesses numerous hits such as ‘Dear Friend,’ ‘Goose’s Dream,’ and ‘Father.’
Earlier this year, she demonstrated her national treasure-level vocal prowess by showcasing performances of NewJeans’ ‘Hype Boy,’ Sistar’s ‘Touch My Body,’ and Gain’s ‘Bloom’ on KBS2’s ‘Golden Girls.’ Insooni stated, “This year marks my 47th year since debut, and I still get excited when preparing to meet the audience.”
2023 and 24 were years of challenge for me.
I debuted in a girl group with ‘Golden Girls’ and successfully completed a concert.
I also published a picture book as an author, having one of the busiest schedules,” she reflected. She continued, “I intend to conclude this year with the ‘2024 Insooni Dinner Show.’
I am worried about meeting the audience through a ‘dinner show’ for the first time in 5 years, but I plan to show the part of Insooni that hasn’t been shown yet” and added, “I hope to show each attendee by making eye contact with them that Insooni’s challenges are not over.
I would appreciate it if many people come and enjoy it with me.” Meanwhile, tickets for Insooni’s ‘2024 Insooni Dinner Show’ will be available for reservation from 2 PM on the 15th through Yes24 Tickets. Reporter Jang Juyeon at jang3@edaily.co.kr
