On June 16, Hwanhee ranked first with a total of 19,145 votes in the daily popularity poll for the male category of DC Trend Trot.
Recently venturing into trot, he is capturing fans’ hearts by showcasing a new musical world that adds sincerity to his existing emotional vocals.
Hwanhee has been active for a long time as part of the male duo ‘Fly to the Sky’, but earlier this year appeared on TV Chosun’s ‘King of Singers 2’, challenging the authentic trot stage. He invited his mother to the stage for the first time in 25 years, creating a touching moment, and confessed that he had been contemplating whether to choose traditional trot or create his own new trot style. He stated he wants to sing plainly without embellishment like ironing and expressed a firm determination towards a new musical color.
Second place is Jang Min-ho, who received 16,681 votes. Known for his stable performances on the trot stage, he is also active as a broadcast host recently. He is currently an MC on MBC ON’s ‘Trot Champion’ and in April served as MC for a special broadcast on Disability Day titled ‘Spring Day’s Miracle’, engaging in a meaningful endeavor to help children with disabilities.
Third place Kang Moon-kyung recorded 11,839 votes. They were followed by Shin Sung-tae (11,501 votes) and Jung Da-han (11,295 votes), who also proved their steady popularity with solid fan bases. Ranks 6 to 10 are Hwang Min-woo, Kim Yong-bin, Cheon Rok-dam, Chris Young, and Shin Yoo in order.
Ranks 11 to 30 are Jae-ha, Yoon Jun-hyup, Choi Jae-myung, Hwang Young-woong, Lee Do-jin, Park Gun, Song Min-jun, Gong Hoon, Ok Sam, Kim Junsu, Jin-wook, Lee Dae-won, Park Hyun-ho, Son Bin-ah, Ahn Sung-hoon, Jeon Jong-hyuk, Go Jung-woo, Kim Jung-yeon, Cho Myung-seop, Kim Kyung-min in order.
