Actress Jeon Yeo-been shines with charisma as the role of an independence army member in the new movie ‘Harbin’.
‘Harbin’ is a work depicting the intense chase and suspicion between those heading to Harbin for a single purpose in 1909 and those pursuing them. Actress Jeon Yeo-been, who increases trust in the work with her captivating acting, joins ‘Harbin’.
Playing the role of independence army member ‘Gongbuin’, Jeon Yeo-been is building a remarkably solid filmography with diverse charms and deep acting through works like ‘Vincenzo’ and ‘Cobweb’.
In this work, she is expected to show a different side by appearing as a dignified and resolute independence army member. Jeon Yeo-been said, “From the moment I read the script, I could feel the dignity and resolve unique to Gongbuin, and the thought of embodying this character myself sparked a sense of challenge and anticipation.
Throughout filming, I constantly asked myself, ‘What is that heart that is prioritized over my life?’ and tried to capture as much sincerity and passion of the independence army members as possible,” she expressed her unique mindset. Director Woo Min-ho also shared casting insights, saying, “I thought actress Jeon Yeo-been, who exudes tremendous energy, was the best choice to portray the character ‘Gongbuin’.” Meanwhile, ‘Harbin’ is a collaborative work between director Woo Min-ho and Hive Media Corp, who have produced all movies since ‘Inside Men’.
