KBS 2TV new weekend drama ‘Splendid Days’ (Directed by Kim Hyung-seok / Written by So Hyun-kyung / Produced by Studio Coming Soon, Studio Bom, Monster Union) is a ‘generational sympathy family melodrama about the splendid days that every human has, whether it’s now, in the past, or in the future, each with different meanings.’
Lee Tae-ran plays the role of Go Seong-hee, the wife of successful entrepreneur Park Jin-seok (played by Park Sung-geun) in the drama. Go Seong-hee is a character who has lived fiercely to escape poverty and remarries Jin-seok based on her excellent senses and subtle psychological understanding, ascending to the position of a chaebol family matriarch.
Seong-hee, who appears elegant and kind on the surface, lives as a cold and thorough realist inside and is expected to act as a key to driving the drama’s tension.
