In this season, Ahn Jung-hwan, Park Hang-seo, Kim Nam-il, and Lee Dong-gook will each lead their teams, engaging in a fierce strategic battle from player selection to tactical planning. Unlike the traditional single-team format, it has evolved into an ’11 vs 11′ official football league.
The production team explained, “‘Kick 4’ is the first full-scale 11 vs 11 football league in Korean entertainment. Four teams compete for a single championship cup, boasting the largest scale in history.” They also revealed that hidden football talents from various fields such as idols, singers, actors, comedians, sports figures, and creators will appear, raising expectations.
Particularly, the nerve-wracking encounter between Ahn Jung-hwan and Park Hang-seo as directors draws attention. Park Hang-seo declared, “As a director, being compared to Ahn Jung-hwan is a blow to my pride. I will definitely beat Ahn,” to which Ahn replied, “Director Park has only experienced high-level games.
