The city where dreams gather, Gangnam-gu drawing the future(Mayor Cho Sung-myung) will hold the ‘G-KPOP Concert’ at Hangang Park Sinsa Jamwon District on 5th 24th and 25th and ‘Garosu-gil Design Week’ in Sinsa-dong from 24th to 28th.
K-POP performance and Garosu-gil food show, busking, flea market combine in this event to attract tourists and activate local business, while also being a complex cultural festival to enhance Gangnam’s global city brand value.
‘G-KPOP Concert’ where all generations can enjoy together
G-KPOP Concert will feature 13 artists over two days. ▲On the 24th, STAYC, Dreamcatcher, Nerd Connection, Hwang Garam, Rakki, Yoon Soo-il ▲On the 25th, Kim Tae-woo, Lee Jae-hoon, Jinusean, Park Mi-kyung, Space A, Lee Ja-yeon, Park Hyun-bin will perform, showcasing shows that all generations can enjoy together.
The concert is free and will be held from 7PM to 9PM. Admission wristbands will be distributed at the ticket booth from 11AM on the day. On the 25th, busking performances (11 AM~1 PM), fireworks shows will follow the performances on both days. The 5,000-seat scale audience seats include a sitting area and a picnic zone · standing zone to maximize the charm of the outdoor city concert for an audience-centered seating arrangement.
Sensational experience with star chefs at ‘Garosu-gil Design Week’
Garosu-gil Design Week transforms the streets with the theme ‘G-KFOOD FESTIVAL’into a festival street.
Particularly, on the weekend of 24-25, Garosu-gil will become a car-free street to enjoy famous chef’s food shows, food trucks, busking performances, and flea markets.
Major programs include on 24th ▲Chef Yoon Nam-no’s live cooking show and lecture ▲Jo Gwang-hyo, Kitchen Gangster Park Ji-young Chef’s Chinese cuisine experience zone ▲High Street Italia(High Street Italia) collaborative fashion show and food show ▲NORAZO, Jumi, Circus D.LAB and other popular artists’ exciting busking will provide endless enjoyment to visitors. On the 25th, ▲Chef Park Jun-woo’s live cooking show lecture ▲Italian Chef’s special food show ▲Ulala Session, Minseo, Circus D.LAB busking will continue to captivate the visitors.
Additionally, over100 flea market booths and event zones, experience zones, picnic zones, and food trucks selling food, fashion, living, beauty products create a lively festival atmosphere. Until the last day on 28, the100 stores in Garosu-gil participate in ‘Garosu-gil Sale Festa’ offering various discounts and promotions.
