G-Dragon of the group Big Bang was ‘attacked’ by former member Seungri fans during a concert.
On the 12th, various social media (SNS) revealed photos and videos of G-Dragon’s concert held at the Hong Kong AsiaWorld-Arena from the 8th to the 10th.
The issue arose when some fans held up LED placards mentioning Seungri during G-Dragon’s solo song ‘Butterfly’.
The placards had the phrase ‘Bring Seungri’ on them.
Another fan also held up an LED placard with ‘GD♥SR’ which uses the initials of G-Dragon and Seungri.
During the performance, G-Dragon noticed this phrase, momentarily lost his smile, and immediately turned away.

It is known that the audience in question secretly brought in LED placards, which were prohibited according to Hong Kong performance regulations.
After the controversy, the person involved brazenly revealed through SNS, “The placard is mine. I held it up to show G-Dragon when the lights went out,” causing more public outrage.
Fans expressed displeasure saying, “It was inappropriate behavior in a place where concert etiquette should be observed.”
This Hong Kong concert was G-Dragon’s first in 8 years. The concert ticket was priced at about 420,000 won and reportedly some scalpers sold it for over 20 million won.
In 2018, Seungri was identified as a key figure in the ‘Burning Sun Gate.’ Investigations revealed charges of arranging prostitution, violating the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act, embezzlement in business, and overseas gambling, resulting in a 1 year and 6-month prison sentence. He was released in February 2023.
