[Seoul=RNX News] Reporter Seo-yeon Chung = Actor Bae Nara shone with her chilling performance.

In ‘Fragmented City’ (written by Oh Sang-ho/ directed by Park Shin-woo, Kim Chang-joo), released on Disney+ on the 12th and 19th, Bae Nara transformed into a character called Woobi Nam, exuding a chilling charisma and maintaining the tension of the drama.

In episode 5, Woobi Nam surprised viewers with his gruesome cruelty. He helped Yohan (played by Do Kyung-soo) by mercilessly cutting off the fingers of a character who had been rude to him, allowing Yohan to complete his work, and skillfully framing someone else for a murder, redirecting all suspicion.

Additionally, the drama reached its peak shock as it was revealed that Woobi Nam had secretly been involved in the death of Tae-joong’s (played by Ji Chang-wook) brother.

In the subsequent episode 7, Woobi Nam showcased intense action scenes, enhancing the drama’s immersion. He appeared to save Sang-rak (played by Kim Joong-hee) from a crisis caused by Tae-joong, employing agile movements to subdue his opponent in a tense fight, and amplifying the character’s madness with a maniacal laugh.

However, when Yohan, upon realizing that he had missed Tae-joong, dealt with him personally, Woobi Nam faced a tragic end, leaving a strong impression as he exited.

Bae Nara left a deep impression with her overwhelming presence and immersive acting, even in a short appearance.

Recently, in the popular SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘Space Merry Me,’ she showcased a variety of emotional expressions and delicate character portrayal in the romance genre, proving herself as an irreplaceable actress with her perfect portrayal of an unpredictable villain character in this project.

With her challenging choices that transcend genre and character boundaries, Bae Nara continues to showcase new aspects, fueling anticipation for her future endeavors.

Meanwhile, after making a strong impression on the public with the Netflix original series ‘D.P. Season 2,’ she has been creating a distinctive presence with various charismatic characters in different genres, such as ‘Weak Hero Class 2’ and ‘Your Taste.’

She is set to appear in the musical ‘Bonnie and Clyde,’ opening on December 11, continuing her dynamic performances across both dramas and stage.
