[Seoul=RNX News] Reporter Seo-yeon Jung = ‘For the First, Love’ presents another healing drama in life.

On the coming 4th (Monday), the first broadcast of tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama ‘For the First, Love’ (directed by Jae-won Yoo, written by Woo-jin Sung, planned·produced by Studio Dragon·Showrunners) released the work’s differences and viewing points revealed by Yum Jung-ah, Park Hae-jun, Choi Yoon-ji, Kim Min-kyu on the 1st.

The actors’ justified confidence makes the first broadcast, which is approaching in three days, even more anticipated.

‘For the First, Love’ tells the story of a single mom and her medical student daughter who unexpectedly face the second act of life and choose to live for today’s happiness rather than tomorrow’s, encountering a story of first, not last, love.

Sometimes humorous, sometimes heartwarming, sometimes thrilling, this gift-like story presents a full package of laughter, emotion, empathy, and healing.

Director Yoo Jae-won, loved for shows like ‘Mother’s Friend’s Son’, ‘Crash Course in Romance’, ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’, along with the solid and fresh script of writer Sung Woo-jin, and the cast completing the ‘first, love combination’ further inflame expectations.

First, Yum Jung-ah plays the role of the confident single mom ‘Lee Ji-an’, showing her true value with realistic, immersive acting and a wide range of emotional changes.

Yum Jung-ah explained, “Many people will be able to project and empathize with ‘myself’ in this work,” adding, “There’s joy in works with stimulating materials or narratives, but our work, which fills a corner of the heart warmly, offers a different kind of fun.

Watching ‘For the First, Love’ will allow you to temporarily forget the worries or stress of life,” emphasizing the uniqueness. She continued, “The relationships of family love, romantic love, and friendship are enough to bring a smile just thinking about them.

It’s a work where you can warmly feel all these points. Whatever expectation you have, it will be satisfying,” she assured.

Park Hae-jun will show another new side as the picky architect and Lee Ji-an (played by Yum Jung-ah)’s first love ‘Ryu Jung-seok’, adding another life character.

Park Hae-jun said, “Those who have watched Director Yoo Jae-won’s previous works will surely enjoy ‘For the First, Love’,” adding, “Director Yoo’s humor and kind charisma will blend with Cinematographer Yoo Hyeok-jun’s beautiful angles, melting the hearts of the viewers. I think 70-80% of the loveable charm in our work comes from the on-set atmosphere,” raising curiosity about the first broadcast.

He also added, “It was a joyful and exciting project, like going back to childhood. I hope you will watch comfortably and pleasantly,” requesting much interest and affection.

Choi Yoon-ji plays the role of ‘Lee Hyo-ri’, a once upright medical student turned reckless wandering youth. She is expected to leave a strong impression and evoke realistic empathy from young adults in her first starring role.

Choi Yoon-ji stated, “It’s a work that brings out unsaid emotions in human relationships everyone might have, be it family, friends, or new acquaintances. Because people’s minds within relationships are drawn very delicately,” continuing, “Though it seems ordinary on the surface, the narrative and emotions of each character are deeply layered, so viewers might find themselves reflected at some point. I hope many can empathize together,” providing a deep understanding of the work.

As a viewing point, she pointed out the beautiful natural scenery. “Sometimes the scenery speaks for the characters’ emotions. Viewers will likely be swept up in the atmosphere,” she said, revealing extraordinary affection for the work, “It’s a story that silently seeps into people’s minds and stays long.”

Kim Min-kyu plays ‘Ryu Bo-hyun’, the son of Ryu Jung-seok (played by Park Hae-jun) and the assured center figure among young farmers. Attention is focused on his performance, capturing the viewers’ hearts with warm visuals and fresh charm.

“‘For the First, Love’ portrays youth and middle-aged romance, and further makes us think about the true meaning of first love,” he stated, adding, “I hope it becomes a drama like a summer gift for the viewers.”

Finally, he pointed out the viewing highlight, “While watching, I hope everyone thinks a lot about their ‘first love’.”

tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama ‘For the First, Love’ will air its first episode on the coming 4th (Monday) at 8:50 PM.
