The pediatric professor, who became a hot topic as the ‘Jo Jung-suk doppelgänger’ and the ‘real life Lee Ik-jun professor’, met his doppelgänger. However, the person he met was not actor Jo Jung-suk but ‘Jo Jeom-seok’.
Jo Jeom-seok (the ‘sub-character’ of actor Jo Jung-suk), who runs the YouTube channel ‘Cheonggyesan Daengi Records’, released a video on the 24th showing him meeting Professor Yoo.
Jo Jeom-seok said, “I went to Wonju for work,” adding, “I met Professor Yoo Young-myeong from Wonju Severance Christian Hospital, who became a topic on social media (SNS) for resembling Jo Jung-suk.”
Upon arriving at Wonju Severance Christian Hospital in Wonju, Gangwon, Jo Jeom-seok explained, “He’s not someone you can meet just because you want to, but he kindly invited me.”
He then shook hands with Professor Yoo, who was working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Jo Jung-suk admired Professor Yoo by saying, “My friends sent me the video where the professor appeared, and he really looks a lot like me.” He added, “He’s the number one Jo Jung-suk lookalike.”
In response, Professor Yoo said, “I’ve heard that I resemble Jo Jung-suk only recently. I hadn’t thought about it before,” adding, “He is successful and handsome… I am grateful for everything.”
Jo Jeom-seok humorously added, “I also often hear that I resemble Jo Jung-suk.”
Jo Jeom-seok listened to Professor Yoo explain about the NICU. Jo Jeom-seok reflected, “As a father of a daughter, I recall every moment from when my child was born,” adding, “I feel the preciousness of life.”
Professor Yoo shared, “All the babies are cute. I feel excited every time I go to work. I find it rewarding to see how much they improve.”
