[Exclusive] Lee Jin-Wook and Hyeri become lawyers… Team up in ‘Esquire’

Actors Lee Jin-wook and Hyeri are set to star in the new drama ‘Esquire’.

According to the broadcasting industry on the 18th, Lee Jin-wook and Hyeri are positively considering appearing in ‘Esquire’.

‘Esquire’ is a story about lawyers and lawsuits set against a large law firm, and will be directed by Kim Jae-hong, PD of SBS drama ‘Chaebol X Detective’.

Filming is scheduled to begin next March, and it will be produced by Channel S and aired on JTBC.

‘Esquire’ refers to the title for a lawyer in the English-speaking world, and Lee Jin-wook and Hyeri plan to transform into lawyers in the drama.

This is their first time acting together, and there is anticipation for what kind of chemistry they will show.

Lee Jin-wook, who recently received love for his role as Hyun-ho in the Genie TV original drama ‘My Dear Harry’, will be meeting audiences through the upcoming Netflix release ‘Squid Game 2’. There is interest in what new charm he will show as a lawyer in ‘Esquire’.

Especially having portrayed professional roles in several works such as ‘Nine: Nine Times Time Travel’ and ‘My Dear Harry’, Lee Jin-wook’s unique charisma raises expectations for his performance in ‘Esquire’.

Hyeri’s transformation in acting, having firmly established herself as an actress, is also a point of anticipation.

Since debuting with the group Girl’s Day in 2010 and gaining recognition as an actress through the drama ‘Reply 1988’, Hyeri has steadily built her filmography by appearing in numerous works like dramas ‘Two Cops’, ‘Miss Lee’, ‘One Hundred Won Butler’, and movies ‘Monstrum’’, ‘My Punch-Drunk Boxer’, ‘Victory’.

Attention is focused on what kind of charm Hyeri, taking her first lawyer role since her debut, will display in ‘Esquire’.
