Actors Kim Go-eun and Lee Ji-ah will appear on a variety show with a whiskey theme.
According to the broadcasting industry on the 5th, Kim Go-eun and Lee Ji-ah will co-star in tvN’s new variety show ‘Whiskey Road Together’. The show documents the process of the two people, tasked with writing a column on whiskey and food pairing, as they explore restaurants in Korea and abroad.
The filming took place in late September in Seoul, Taipei, and other locations.
It consists of four episodes, with the first broadcast scheduled for November 17th. This marks the second time Kim Go-eun and Lee Ji-ah are appearing together on a variety show.
The two, who share the same agency, BH Entertainment, previously captivated viewers with their unique, comfortable yet cheerful charm and chemistry on JTBC’s variety show ‘The Sea I Desire’ in 2021. Since then, they have continued to reveal their friendship by frequently posting shared dining and travel photos on their personal social media.
Earlier this year, they also released a vlog documenting their joint trip to Las Vegas and Los Angeles on their agency’s official YouTube channel.
At that time, Kim Go-eun and Lee Ji-ah each displayed their fondness for alcohol by purchasing 1-liter whiskey at a duty-free shop. Meanwhile, Kim Go-eun, who recently met audiences through the film ‘Laws of the Big City Love’, is currently filming Netflix’s new original series ‘Price of Confession’ with Jeon Do-yeon. Lee Ji-ah, after concluding the drama ‘The Outstanding Fixer’ in March, is reviewing her next project and recently revealed her current status at the ‘2024 LACMA Art+Film Gala’ held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
