Former soccer player Park Joo-ho shared an update about a family marathon with his wife Anna, who fought cancer, and their three children.
On the 22nd, Park Joo-ho posted a photo on his Instagram with the caption, “Our first marathon together.” The photo was taken at the 23rd Gyeonggi Marathon held on the 20th, showing Park Joo-ho, his wife Anna, and their three children Na-eun, Gun-hoo, and Jin-woo all smiling brightly with medals around their necks.
Particularly, the healthy appearance of his wife Anna caught attention. After revealing her battle with cancer in 2022, she gained much support when it became known that her hair had fallen out due to chemotherapy.
Anna stated, “Fortunately, it was detected early and has improved a lot,” and Park Joo-ho also shared via broadcast that “although not completely cured, she received a good prognosis and is under careful observation.”
This marathon was the first official event with the whole family participating together, conveying the solid bond of a family that has endured tough times, bringing tears of emotion to fans.
Park Joo-ho married Anna, who is four years younger and from Switzerland, in 2015, and they have two sons and a daughter. Their family received a lot of love through KBS 2TV’s ‘The Return of Superman.’
