Set to air on September 20th is KBS 2TV’s new weekend miniseries ‘Eunsoo’s Good Day’ (Directed by Song Hyun-wook/ Written by Jeon Young-shin / Produced by Baram Pictures, Slingshot Studio), a story about a parent, Kang Eunsoo, who wants to protect her family, and Lee Kyung, a teacher with two faces, who engage in a dangerous and desperate joint venture after stumbling upon a bag of drugs.
Lee Young-ae plays the role of Kang Eunsoo, who is pushed to the edge of a cliff overnight due to her husband’s deteriorating illness and financial bankruptcy.
One day, struggling to survive a life shattered in an instant, Eunsoo discovers a suspicious bag left behind by someone and becomes entangled in a business relationship with her daughter’s after-school art teacher, Lee Kyung (played by Kim Young-kwang).
Through this work, Lee Young-ae is expected to demonstrate a unique presence once again by unraveling a character caught in an extreme situation with solid yet deep emotional lines.
The stills released today (31st) clearly depict the life narrative of Kang Eunsoo, who is confronted with cracks in her ordinary life and a crisis, through just three cuts.
First, the image of Lee Young-ae drawing a heart to her daughter going to school and smiling brightly reveals the warm aspect of Kang Eunsoo, who feels the small happiness of being an ordinary housewife and mother.
The neat apron and bright expression, a moment in a simple and mundane life, form a strong contrast to the approaching tragedy, enhancing immersion.
Furthermore, Eunsoo’s appearance working at a supermarket in uniform was also caught.
