This campaign, launched to celebrate the brand’s 25th anniversary, is a reinterpretation of Thursday Island’s sentiment and philosophy in a modern way. By appointing idol artist ‘KiiiKiii’ as the muse for the first time, it presents a new turning point.
Adding KiiiKiii’s unique atmosphere to the natural and emotional bohemian mood the brand has aimed for, it delivers an emotional message that resonates with a wider generation.
The campaign slogan for this season, ‘How’s your Tomorrow?’, is inspired by the 25FW collection theme ‘TO MORROW, FLOWER’, conveying a positive message about the coming day.
Under the symbol of ‘flowers blooming towards tomorrow’, it captures the brand message upheld by Thursday Island for the past 25 years and the flow of emotions that have evolved over time.
Especially through collaboration with KiiiKiii, known as the ‘organic idol’ and a healing icon, it sensibly expresses the ease felt in nature and inner freedom. This season’s products, composed with MORROW flower motif drawings and intricate embroidery details, unravel the brand’s message in an emotional and sophisticated style.
The campaign pictorial was shot in a ranch and cottage wood-tone space that harmonizes with autumn nature.
Amidst colorful fields and sunlit mountain slopes, against a vintage cottage background, KiiiKiii expresses free and pure emotions. The interaction with nature symbolizes the inner peace and emotional leisure pursued by the brand.
In the pictorial, KiiiKiii visualizes the brand philosophy wearing a MORROW flower print T-shirt and embroidered knit, completing the bohemian mood of protection-chic and introducing a new emotion of ‘Tomorrow’s Bohemian’.
Thursday Island is broadly extending as an ‘Ageless’ brand from this season, selecting an idol artist as a muse for the first time to widen communication with both existing customers and the younger generation.
