In the 8th episode aired at 8 PM yesterday on KBS 2TV weekend drama ‘Please Protect the Five Brothers of the Eagle’ (directed by Choi Sang-yeol, Lee Jin-ah / written by Koo Hyun-sook / produced by DK E&M), Ma Gwang-sook (played by Eom Ji-won) successfully entered LX Hotel as Jang Kwang-joo.
The viewership rating for the broadcast recorded 20.1% (provided by Nielsen Korea, nationwide household standard), ranking first among all programs aired on Sunday, establishing itself as the king of weekend dramas.
In the broadcast, Gwang-sook successfully completed the tasting test of Jang Kwang-joo (a drink named after Gwang-sook and Jang-su). Gong Joo-shil (played by Park Jun-geum) heard the news of Gwang-sook’s entry into the LX Hotel and expressed joy by saying, “You worked hard today too, President Ma,” creating a warm atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Gwang-sook met Dok-go-tak again at the LX Hotel, and they had another power struggle. Dok-go-tak showed discomfort at Gwang-sook’s statement that she came to make a supply contract for Jang Kwang-joo.
