“Whatever you imagine, it’s beyond that.” Actor Ji Jin-hee challenges a sitcom through KBS2’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Kick Kick Kick Kick’.

On the 5th, an online production presentation for ‘Kick Kick Kick Kick’ was held.
Director Guseong-joon, actors Ji Jin-hee, Lee Kyu-hyung, Baek Ji-won, Lee Min-jae, Jeon Hye-yeon, Jeong Han-seol, Kim Eun-ho, Jeon So-young, and Baek Seon-ho attended.
‘Kick Kick Kick Kick’ is an office comedy drama where the ten-million-actor Ji Jin-hee (Ji Jin-hee) and former star PD Cho Young-sik (Lee Kyu-hyung) establish a content production company and race toward 3 million subscribers.
Director Guseong-joon, who directed this drama, said, “I made it with the hope that this drama would provide various laughs and fun to viewers and become a healing experience during tough times.”
He continued, “As the title suggests, this work emphasizes laughter, and laughter is very subjective, but we included various comic elements.”
“We tried to capture those different points in one drama,” he explained.
Additionally, “Because each character has different comedic elements, viewers will be able to enjoy comic points that match their tastes,” he said.
Ji Jin-hee also hinted, “Like the director said, our drama has various comedic elements.
The character I played is serious but with some quirky aspects.”
Regarding performing comedic acting through ‘Kick Kick Kick Kick,’ Ji Jin-hee said, “In past interviews, I’ve consistently said I want to do a sitcom genre,” adding, “It’s a genre I enjoy watching and like.”
“I lack in some areas, but I’m doing this because a good opportunity came up,” he continued.
Regarding the character name being the same as his real name, he said, “It’s unique.
But it’s a character, not my real self,” adding, “That’s why I can show a different side in a fun way.

The actors pointed out the chemistry between Ji Jin-hee and Lee Kyu-hyung as a viewing highlight of ‘Kick Kick Kick Kick’, sharing behind-the-scenes stories of their kiss scene that brought laughter.
Lee Kyu-hyung playfully started, “It was very uncomfortable,”
adding “It felt like an intense emotional scene and a fight scene.
The emotional flow of the characters in the drama leads to a lip crash,” he explained, saying “It was a blend of discomfort and enjoyment coexisting,” ending with a laugh.
Ji Jin-hee smiled and said, “We filmed the kiss scene early when we weren’t that close.
Thanks to that kiss scene, we became closer,” adding “After that, we filmed other scenes enjoyably.” He also hinted at a future season, stating, “Our drama will eventually be watched later anyway,” expressing confidence, “so please watch it on TV in advance.”
‘Kick Kick Kick Kick’ airs its first episode at 9:50 p.m. today.
